Delete your Kaedo account

In the app (instant)

1. Open Kaedo and tap You in the bottom bar.
2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
3. Confirm. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

By email

Can’t access the app? Email support@kaedoapp.com from the address linked to your account and we’ll delete it for you.

Delete some of your data (without deleting your account)

• Chat messages: long-press any of your messages → Delete message.
• Photos: open any photo you added (album or vibe board) and tap the delete icon.
• Profile data: your avatar and payment handles can be changed or cleared on the Profile tab.
• Anything else: email support@kaedoapp.com and we’ll delete the specific data you name.

What gets deleted

• Your account and sign-in identity (Apple/Google link, email)
• Your profile, name, avatar, and payment handles
• Your chat messages and the photos you uploaded
• Groups you created, and push tokens/notification settings

What’s kept (anonymized)

Records other people in your events rely on — like shared cost entries and plan items — are kept but disconnected from your identity (your name becomes "Departed fox"). Events you organized are handed to another member, or deleted if you were the only account in them. There is no additional retention period: everything above happens at the moment of deletion.
